The genesis of Dead Game stems from the active lifestyle of its founders, brothers Scott and Tim DeLorenzo.  From football to soccer to basketball to baseball to track and field to power lifting to skiing to boxing and mixed martial arts, the competitive foundation was laid.

But why the name Dead Game?  In any aspect of life, what sets a true top performer apart from the rest of the field is his will to continue in the face of adversity.  Dead gameness is the absolute pinnacle of that concept.  There can be no greater display of perseverance.

Dead Game's founders were also introduced to a breed of dog called the American Pit Bull Terrier.  What drew them to this breed as a companion initially was a combination of looks and overall temperament, but the eventual lessons learned were much deeper and had much farther-reaching implications.  Many hours of reading about the history of the breed revealed an animal to be admired and even emulated.  Life lessons and role models come in all forms.

The present: There is something about this idea that stirs emotions.  It's undeniably palpable but also abstract.  So what is the most effective method of delivering the message?  That was the question.  Clothing was the answer.  Sometimes, clothing can represent a person's mood.  Other times, it can influence it.  It's a conduit through which lifestyle expression, inspiration and life lessons can freely flow.
